The original Mama Makes Smash Cake was created by owner Emily, a Mama looking for a better alternative to the standard sugar-laden boxed cake mixes. When she couldn't find a box mix, she turned to online recipes, but came up empty handed again. ​

Many, MANY taste tests later, she landed on the perfect recipe. Simple, delicious, and allergen-free, the Mama Makes Original Smash Cake Mix was born. And now we're sharing it with other Mamas and caregivers around the world.
